Jeff Walker, Vice-President / Division Leader Jeffrey A. Walker joined Vectra Bank in 2005 where he worked in Vectra’s commercial banking division focused on commercial clients with annual revenues of $10MM-$75MM. After three years with the Commercial Banking Division, Jeffrey was asked to become the division leader for Vectra Bank’s Business Banking Division for the south region. Prior to joining Vectra Bank, Jeffrey spent 5 years with a regional bank as a Corporate Analyst which offered him the opportunity to complete a formal bank credit training program. The credit program offered extensive opportunities to work with clients across many industries. Prior to his departure from the regional bank, he was promoted to Corporate Relationship Manager, the youngest Corporate RM up to and since that time. Most recently, Jeffrey was nominated to the Downtown Denver Partnership Leadership Program in 2010 by President/CEO of Vectra Bank Colorado. Jeffrey is a 2001 graduate of Colorado State University AACSB accredited School of business with an emphasis in finance, management and marketing. Jeffrey lives in Highlands Ranch with his wife and spends great deal of time outdoors. Jeffrey is actively involved in the community, coaching youth lacrosse as well as being involved with both the Denver Metro Chamber and the South Metro Chamber of Commerce.
Mark Abell, Senior Vice-President, and SBA Specialist SBA Financing of Business Acquisitions: What Sellers Need to Know This presentation will provide a detailed look at SBA options for financing business acquisitions with, and without, real estate. The presentation will focus on what business owners need to know about the financing available for the acquisition of small, closely-held businesses and the impact on structure and price. Mark Abell founded the SBA Division for Vectra Bank Colorado in the fall of 2005. Since 2006, Vectra Bank has consistently ranked as one of the state’s Top 10 SBA Lenders, and was the only Top 10 SBA Lender in Colorado to increase its loan volumes during fiscal year 2009. Prior to joining Vectra Bank, Mark spent 13 years with Key Bank in a variety of roles, including Management Trainee, and over 8 years as a Relationship Manager with their Business Banking and Commercial Banking groups. His expertise in SBA lending dates back to his first SBA financing in 1998. Over the years, he has completed dozens of business acquisitions ranging in value from $300,000 to over $3,500,000. Mark has received multiple recognitions for his work, including the Denver Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 Award in 2008. Mark is a 1992 graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder Leeds School of Business with an emphasis in finance. He is also an Associate Member and 2009 Board Member of the Colorado Association of Business Intermediaries, a non-profit dedicated to the education of business brokers throughout the state. Mark lives in Parker with his wife and two sons, and spends his free time leading Boy Scouts Troop 16 as its Scoutmaster.
