Eric Ransick is the President and Managing Shareholder of Zick Business Advisors, Inc., a Denver/Vail Valley firm of CPA’s and Certified Valuation Analysts.  In addition to being a full service firm focused on the needs of closely held businesses and their owners, since the late 1980’s ZBA, Inc. has assisted numerous clients in the use of Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP’s) as both a tax advantaged exit planning vehicle for business owners and an equity based benefit for employees. 

Eric’s firm is actively involved in ESOP feasibility analysis, implementation and valuation services for businesses ranging from $1 million to over $250 million in annual revenues, in a wide range of industries.  ZBA, Inc. is the first Colorado CPA firm to implement its own ESOP as a business continuation and exit planning vehicle for the firm and its shareholders.

Eric has been a Certified Public Accountant for over 30 years, and is also a Certified Valuation Analyst with 17 years of business valuation experience.  In addition to being a BEI member, he is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s, the Colorado Society of CPA’s, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and both of the national organizations of ESOP companies and ESOP professionals- the ESOP Association and the National Center for Employee Ownership.  His professional experience includes twelve years as an agent and manager with the IRS.
